Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 32
10:30 am
James Bannon (Longford-Westmeath, Fine Gael)
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the shocking economic forecast for Ireland published yesterday which states that job numbers in Ireland will not return to their 2007 peak until 2021, leaving workers and families to endure deprivation of biblical proportions for the next 12 years as they are hit by the most severe recession since the Second World War, which has been driven by Government mismanagement of our current and future economic stability.
