Social Welfare Benefits: Motion
11:00 am
Jan O'Sullivan (Limerick East, Labour)
I wish to respond to some of the contributions made by those on the Government benches. We are not accusing Ministers or backbenchers of sadism or, as some of them seem to be feeling the pain themselves, masochism. However, we are accusing them of getting their priorities and their economics wrong. Deputy Thomas Byrne indicated that we did not suggest any alternative with regard to where the money that is required might be found.
