Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 32
2:30 pm
Frank Feighan (Roscommon-South Leitrim, Fine Gael)
I wish to seek leave for the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to address the following matter of national importance requiring urgent consideration, namely, the over 70s General Medical Services, GMS, card, and the undue stress and anger among the elderly caused by the complicated and lengthy application form that they must fill out despite passing the means test for the non-contributory pension. Thousands of pensioners could lose their cards unjustly.
