If the Ceann Comhairle will let me finish, both the ESB and Bord Gáis are seeking to reduce their prices but are not being allowed to do it, by regulation. There is a problem because we have a Minister who seems to think there is an advantage in keeping prices artificially high. I believe the Government genuinely wants to try to reduce domestic and industrial energy prices. Will the Taoiseach please ensure that the energy price review happens quickly? We could make a decision tomorrow that would allow the ESB to compete aggressively with Bord Gáis in the electricity sector, as well as Bord Gáis doing the same in the gas sector.
