I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, that problems with apartment living have reached crisis point with the revelation that many developers are refusing to pay service charges for unsold units which are subsequently being charged to apartment owners; and the urgent need for the Bill on multi-unit developments, which will regulate property management companies, to be brought forward immediately to protect apartment owners from crippling service charges.
