In the context of the legislation dealing with the credit institutions and the guarantee scheme, is the Government considering proposals to nationalise, support or merge Irish Nationwide with another institution, particularly in light of the comments of that building society's former chairman to the effect that, without Government support, the future looks bleak? Were the Ministers who represent the Green Party fully apprised of the contents of the PricewaterhouseCoopers report into Anglo Irish Bank?
