It is fundamental to trying to get to the bottom of this problem. One of the ways we can ensure confidence in our system, externally as well as internally, is to confirm that those who have the independent statutory authority to investigate these matters are doing so. As far as I and the Government are concerned, recognising their independence, they cannot come to a conclusion soon enough. Whatever facts must be dealt with or whatever further processes must be instigated can then be initiated. Let us be clear that this is the motivation of Government in respect of that matter.
