This country is facing its biggest economic challenge since the foundation of the State. As the days and weeks pass, we see the challenge increase. I am glad to have the opportunity to speak on this motion as it is important to put on the record the extent of the problems facing us. Every Deputy and public representative back in his or her constituency at the weekend got first-hand contact with constituents who made them aware of the problems they face. In 20 years I have not seen such genuine upset and urgency——
