Question : To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the steps the Government will take to deal with juvenile crime and the growing availability of handguns in view of the shooting dead of a resident of East Wall, Dublin 1 in cold blood and the earlier targeting and terrorising of the same person and many of his neighbours, the failure of the Government to deal with the anti-social behaviour which is becoming embedded in many urban communities and the total failure of this Government and the previous two Administrations to deal with the increasing availability and deadly use of illegally held guns.
