Farm Waste Management Scheme: Motion
2:00 pm
Paul Connaughton Snr (Galway East, Fine Gael)
Last Tuesday this Government mauled every Irish farmer. It put its hand down in their pockets and robbed them. It is about to do the same with 10,000 others who will not be able to finish their slatted houses and ancillary works. I cannot understand the attitude of the Fianna Fáil backbenchers today. All over the country for the past six or eight months I have heard they would put pressure on the Minister because they believed it could be done.
