I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to discuss the alarming rise in unemployment in County Kerry, which has increased by more than 50% in the past year, with more than 1,000 construction workers in the county losing their jobs or emigrating in the past six months, and the fact the recent dramatic rise in the numbers out of work is already higher than the rate for the State as a whole.
