Programmes for Government.
11:00 am
Enda Kenny (Mayo, Fine Gael)
Does the Taoiseach agree with the Minister for Finance's statement that the construction industry has come to a shuddering halt? I am not sure if the Taoiseach is aware of what is happening on the streets, with examples of public drunkenness, violence and the use of drugs and knives while gardaí are unable, owing to inadequate resources, to do the business for which they are properly trained. The programme for Government states that each local authority area will create an anti-social behaviour action team. Will the Taoiseach indicate which local authority areas have created such teams in accordance with the programme for Government?
