Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 32

I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the wanton waste of taxpayers' money where a recently refurbished ward in Monaghan General Hospital was taken out of service and the beds put in storage and now the other refurbished 50-bed unit at a cost of €5 million is also being taken out of on call service, by November if possible, thus leaving Monaghan General Hospital something similar to a home for the elderly with more than 100 fewer beds in a currently overstretched system. Only a change of Minister and a change of direction can stop this wanton waste, which is the start of a national roll-out under the current management.
