Twenty-eighth Amendment of the Constitution Bill 2008: Second Stage (Resumed)
4:00 pm
Charlie O'Connor (Dublin South West, Fianna Fail)
I appreciate the opportunity to say a few words in this important debate and to make it clear that I will of course vote yes on 12 June or whatever day it will be. I thank the Minister of State, Deputy Killeen, for giving me the opportunity to say a few words. I wish him well today and for the next four weeks and beyond. As it is my birthday — please do not tell anyone — I am reminded that I am of a generation which was born when Europe was a different place.
