I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the mismanagement of our national environmental commitments, which, according to the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, will lead to EU fines impacting on every taxpayer in the country who once again will be forced to make up for such incompetence.
