I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to debate the following urgent matter: the decision to partly reverse the ban imposed on Brazilian beef imports in the absence of any independent verification that the farms in question comply with EU standards and the detrimental effect this will have on Irish producers required to comply with stringent regulations and on consumers who will not be provided with the same protections applied to beef produced within the EU.
