I seek the adjournment of the House under Standing Order 32 to discuss the fact that despite the large number of fish being taken illegally from Irish waters by non-Irish vessels, which is regularly reported to the authorities here, little action is being taken to prevent this illegal fishing, and that it is responsible for massive losses to the fishing sector here both through the loss of stock and the imposition of further penalties on Irish fishermen.
