Question 94: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the number of social houses and affordable houses provided in 2006 and to date in 2007; the number expected to be provided by the end of 2007; if his attention has been drawn to the huge increase in the numbers applying for affordable housing in some areas; the steps he is taking to deal with the backlog; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
