Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 32.
2:30 pm
Martin Ferris (Kerry North, Sinn Fein)
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, to discuss the issue of the cutbacks in the hours paid to carers by the HSE and the negative effect this is having on elderly people who are dependent on this form of assistance, and the need to make the funding available to restore the hours and ensure that a proper service is provided.
