I wish to seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise a matter of urgent public importance, namely, the need to amend the Local Government Act 2001 to enable members of a local authority who have been barred from membership for five years due to the non-payment of a legal bill or any other such payment to be readmitted if such payment is made.
