Question 2: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the overall number of households in the State who are considered to have a housing need, to include the number of households seeking local authority and other forms of social housing; the number of households in local authority or other social housing who are considered to be living in overcrowded or otherwise unsuitable accommodation; the number in receipt of rent allowances; the number who are homeless; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
