I wish to have the business of Dáil Éireann adjourned under Standing Order 31 to raise an urgent matter of public importance, namely, the failure of the Government to provide leadership on energy efficiency and greenhouse gas emission reductions, and its failure to operate in a cost efficient manner by allowing Departments' energy bills to double to €7.7 million since the last general election.
