Question 123: To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the reasoning behind the Government's decision to fund a redundancy package at Irish Ferries; his views on whether the workers in question were legitimately made redundant, or if their jobs still exist; the action he will take to ensure that taxpayers' money is not used to assist companies in the race to the bottom; if this matter was discussed with the social partners before a decision was made; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
