Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31
5:00 pm
Dan Neville (Limerick West, Fine Gael)
I wish to seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, that despite the unprecedented level of resources, the Government has failed to develop child and adolescent psychiatric services as highlighted in the RTE "Prime Time Investigates" programme; the unacceptable waiting list for access to child and adolescent psychiatric services and the reduction in resources to the psychiatric services from 11% of the health budget in 1997 to 7% in 2006.
