Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31

I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate the following specific and shocking matter of public interest requiring immediate consideration: the disgraceful conduct of and the use of batons by gardaí at Bellanaboy, Glencastle and Bangor, County Mayo, on Friday, 10 November, as shown by the national broadcasting service and the urgent need for members of the force to be held to account and for all members to receive training in human rights compliance methods and protest policing up to the standard of international best practice. This was a disgraceful attack on the right to protest by——
