Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31

4:00 am

Paudge Connolly (Cavan-Monaghan, Independent)

I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate the following matter of urgent public and national concern: the implications for the health care services in the north-east region of the HSE-commissioned Teamwork report which proposes the centralising of services in the new regional hospital on an as yet undetermined site and without adequate replacement services in place, and the Pat Joe Walsh report which is being used to further scapegoat and diminish a distinguished general hospital that has served the people of Monaghan well for more than 74 years.
