Adjournment Debate Matters

4:00 pm

Séamus Pattison (Carlow-Kilkenny, Labour)

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Michael Moynihan — the position in relation to a compulsory purchase order for the Macroom bypass; (2) Deputy Cowley — that the Minister respond to the proposal for an independent public commission of inquiry on the Corrib gas project; (3) Deputy Costello — the need for the Minister to clarify whether her Department is involved in a legal action threatened by the Mater Misericordiae Hospital; and (4) Deputy Broughan — that the Minister respond positively to the establishment of a commission of inquiry to resolve the refinery impasse at Bellanaboy.

The matters raised by Deputies Costello, Cowley and Broughan have been selected for discussion.
