Adjournment Debate Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Olivia Mitchell — the future of the children's hospital at Tallaght; (2) Deputy Joe Higgins — the concern over Garda behaviour at Bellanaboy, County Mayo; (3) Deputy Gormley — the need for the Minister to ensure that a network of local facilities is in place providing essential services; (4) Deputy Gay Mitchell — the reason for differing interpretation of the regulations in relation to retirement age by FÁS (5) Deputy Gregory — to discuss the concern over Garda behaviour at Bellanaboy, County Mayo; (6) Deputy Rabbitte — the implications for Tallaght Hospital of the Government decision concerning a new national children's hospital; (7) Deputy Broughan — the need for the Minister to take a proactive role in attracting new employment opportunities to Dublin's northside; (8) Deputy Sargent — that the Minister take action to ensure the recommendations of the Government task force report on autism 2001 be implemented; (9) Deputy Neville — the refurbishment of the Glenma estate at Croom, County Limerick; (10) Deputy Martin Brady — to discuss the recently announced job losses in Cadburys factory in Coolock; and (11) Deputy Costello — that the Minister take steps to prevent the placing of advertisements in the Border region for the sale of illegal fireworks in Northern Ireland.

The matters raised by Deputies Olivia Mitchell, Rabbitte, Broughan and Martin Brady have been selected for discussion.
