I was on my feet asking for the Hepatitis C Compensation Tribunal (Amendment) Bill 2006 to be referred back. I could not be heard in the confusion, however. Nobody clearly heard what the Ceann Comhairle was saying. I am not saying that was his fault as it was clearly the fault of those who were making noise. I was not given an opportunity to make my proposal before the vote took place. I would like to make that proposal now. I know it is not the normal run of events, but the normal run of events was not what we saw earlier.
