I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to discuss a matter of national importance, namely, the need for the Government to ensure that adequate provision is made to protect members of the emergency services from unprovoked attacks when carrying out their work and that an awareness campaign is put in place to highlight the critical importance of these services to the community.
