I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Neville — the Irish Association of Suicidology and Samaritans media guidelines for the portrayal of suicide; (2) Deputy Pat Breen — the need for the Minister to increase immediately funding amounts to the Health Service Executive for grants for housing aid for the elderly; (3) Deputy Michael D. Higgins — the urgent need for the Minister to impress as a policy issue the responsibility of the health authorities regarding a building for the residential community for the elderly in County Galway; (4) Deputy Stagg — the need for the Minister to clarify the position concerning the new primary school in Naas; and (5) Deputy Crowe — the need for the Minister to address the housing situation where house prices have risen by a massive 270% over the past ten years.

The matters raised by Deputies Neville, Michael D. Higgins, Stagg and Crowe have been selected for discussion.
