Adjournment Debate Matters.

4:00 pm

Séamus Pattison (Carlow-Kilkenny, Labour)

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Costello — the need for the Minister to address the high instances of cancer in disadvantaged urban areas; (2) Deputy Cowley — that the Minister explain the reason a person (details supplied) is unable to get a personal assistant for the person's daughter; (3) Deputy Pat Breen — that the Minister give the Mid-West Regional Authority's executive economic and tourism development group a meaningful consultative role with regard to the Shannon region; (4) Deputy Timmins — that the Minister clarify whether the Garda requested the presence of Wicklow County Council at a recent court case in Bray, County Wicklow; and (5) Deputy O'Sullivan — the need for the Minister to acquire a permanent site for Gaelscoil Sairséal in Limerick without further delay.

The matters raised by Deputies Costello, Cowley, Timmins and O'Sullivan have been selected for discussion.
