I support Deputy Kenny on the same issue. It is grossly unfair that people are being treated in this way. I ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children to take an interest in this. Even though her Department has a responsibility in this area, the matter is being shifted to the Health Service Executive which has absolutely no responsibility for it. I ask the Tánaiste to address this issue which has gone on far too long. People have been seeking their rights for six years but have been treated shabbily and, ultimately, in a way that will cost the State money if it ends up in the courts again.
