On promised legislation, in light of the fact that patients in the west, including dialysis, transplant and cancer patients, are not being provided with transport owing to a lack of funding — I know of a case of an 80 year old who must spend two thirds of her old age pension covering the cost of travel to a hospital appointment — will additional funding be provided to the Health Service Executive in the western region? When will the House debate the eligibility for health and personal social services Bill?
