Trevor Sargent (Dublin North, Green Party)

On behalf of the Green Party I wish to express my shock on hearing of the sudden death of Ms Breda Courtney. It is particularly sad given that the quiet, professional and methodical way in which Ms Courtney carried out her work would not have drawn comment because she was so professional. It is at a time such as this, when she is not here to appreciate it, that people are reminded of the high standard of that work. All we can do, in sadness, is extend our sympathies to her family, friends and colleagues in the Houses.
