Pupil-Teacher Ratio: Motion.
7:00 pm
Liam Twomey (Wexford, Fine Gael)
As the health service has demonstrated, spending money is a very poor benchmark of a Government's performance. It is crazy for the Government to use the amount of money it has spent on the health service to prove a point. The way in which Ministers tour the country reminds me of minor celebrities. They are certainly not acting like competent CEOs of Departments. The Government is forcing children with special needs to go through the courts and failing to make any impact on the school building programme throughout the country.
