The Taoiseach is aware from previous questions of my anxiety that RTE provide broadcasting coverage to reach Irish people living abroad, specifically in Britain. It would be necessary to amend RTE's remit to enable it to do so. The Taoiseach promised to take a personal interest in this matter. Has Cabinet approved the broadcasting authority Bill and when will it be published and brought before the House?
