I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the reason people's lives are being put at risk in west Mayo due to the continuing failure of Government to set up an ambulance base in the Achill, Mulranny and Ballycroy areas of County Mayo using minimum international recommended standards of ambulance availability, that of having an ambulance base available within 20 miles of any populated area.
