I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Hayes — that the Minister outline what he proposes to do about the large numbers of people over the age of 55 who have recently lost their places on CE schemes; (2) Deputy Neville — support for the growth of miscanthus in Ireland; (3) Deputy Deenihan — the need to postpone the implementation of the Taxi Regulations Commission Action Plan 2006 — 2007 for at least six months; (4) Deputy Burton — that the Minister make a statement on the future of the National Aquatic Centre following the recent court judgment; (5) DeputyMcEllistrim — that the Minister initiate a tricolour and flag post to every primary school to mark the 90th anniversary of the 1916 Easter Rising; (6) Deputy Ring — that the Minister outline his proposals on the future of the Irish Rail freight market and if he has actively sought to bring any competition into the market; (7) Deputy Sherlock — the need for the Minister to explain her negotiating stance at the December Agriculture and Fisheries Council in Brussels; (8) Deputy O'Sullivan — the need for the Minister to appoint a neurologist with support staff to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital as a matter of urgency (9) Deputy Naughten — the need for the Minister to outline her plans for the development of services at Roscommon County Hospital and Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe; (10) Deputy Stanton — that the Minister explain the reason a school (details supplied) was not included in the delivering equality of opportunity in schools scheme for this year; (11) Deputy Lynch — that the Minister outline her views on why public patients in Cork need to wait for up to four years to see a consultant; (12) Deputy Cowley — that the Minister address the crisis in Ballina, County Mayo, where the unemployment rate is twice the national average; (13) Deputy Fiona O'Malley — the recent difficulties with the postal services in the Dún Laoghaire area; and (14) Deputy Cuffe — the slow decline and gradual shutdown of Irish Rail's freight business.

The matters raised by Deputies Cowley, Sherlock, McEllistrim and Stanton have been selected for discussion.
