Will the nurses and midwives Bill include a provision for the review of symphysiotomy, a procedure carried out on many women victims without either their knowledge or consent? The majority of these procedures were carried out in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, some of them by the disgraced Dr. Michael Neary. Will the Tánaiste take on and deal with this issue?
