I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the failure of Government to provide the necessary funding to support the establishment of a cross-Border scouting camp at Castle Sanderson, on the Cavan-Fermanagh border, when IFI, INTERREG and many private donors clearly support this important youth centre cross-Border project. The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Deputy Dermot Ahern, stated last week that such North-South projects must figure in the new national development plan. The Dáil must discuss this issue and provide funds accordingly.
