I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Perry — the Minister's views on the decision by SP Wine Products Limited to close its plant at Easkey, County Sligo, with the consequent loss of 31 jobs; (2) Deputy Pat Breen — to ask the Minister the present situation with regard to a number of sewerage schemes in County Clare; (3) Deputy McGuinness — if the Minister will address the issues raised by the Comerama workforce, Castlecomer, County Kilkenny; (4) Deputy Olivia Mitchell — the Minister's views on the reported proposal of management of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council to bypass the Part 8 local consultation process; (5) Deputy Catherine Murphy — the Minister's views on the need for public transport services to be expanded and extended in commuter towns in Kildare such as Kilcock, Enfield, Kill, and Johnstown; (6) Deputy O'Dowd — the Minister's views on the decision of the Health Service Executive to close Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda; (7) Deputy Cowley — to ask the Minister if she will intervene to save the jobs of 100 people who work at the Department of Agriculture and Food in Castlebar, County Mayo; (8) Deputy McGinley — the Minister's views on the need for an extension of and repair works to Scoil Náisiúnta an Choimín, Donegal; (9) Deputy Ring — to ask the Minister to provide the funding for a proposed day care centre in Westport, County Mayo; and (10) Deputy Costello — if the Minister will explain the reason Afghan nationals seeking asylum in Ireland are refused.

The matters raised by Deputies McGuinness, Cowley and Costello have been selected for discussion.
