I welcome the opportunity to speak on budget 2006, which is targeted at improving the lives of people across the country and to sustain the economic gains we have made in recent years. The people have worked hard to generate the resources. Our job is to focus these resources to ensure maximum return for the taxes paid and budget 2006 does that.
