Question 2: To ask the Minister for Social and Family Affairs if his attention has been drawn to the concerns expressed by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul that more than 600,000 Irish persons will be struggling to make ends meet and that thousands will fall into the clutches of moneylenders in Christmas 2005; the steps he intends to take to address the situation; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
