Question 9: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the UK Government has cancelled all it plans to run trials of electronic voting in advance of UK local elections in 2006; if, in view of this, he intends to abandon the electronic voting project altogether; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
