I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate a matter of major national importance, namely, to seek the urgent intervention of the Taoiseach and the Government to ensure European Commissioner, Peter Mandelson, does not succeed in destroying the livelihood of all Irish farmers by his perverse actions in the EU-World Trade Organisation negotiations.
