Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31.
4:00 pm
Arthur Morgan (Louth, Sinn Fein)
I wish to seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of national importance, namely the fact the Government failure to take the action necessary to curb greenhouse emissions will result in the State facing massive fines for failure to reduce emissions output in line with Kyoto commitments and the fact the State's taxpayers and not the big industrial polluters will end up carrying the resulting financial burden.
