I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to discuss the following specific and important matter of public interest requiring urgent attention, namely, the need for the Minister for Agriculture and Food, Deputy Coughlan, to make a statement on biofuels production in view of the proposal for changes in the sugar regime. In view of the importance of this issue, I hope the Ceann Comhairle will agree to my request.
