Question 53: To ask the Minister for Education and Science her views on the concluding observations of the UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination in its judgment of 10 March 2005 on the obligation of the Irish State to promote the establishment of multi-denominational schools; if she will provide adequate funding, estimated at €500,000 per annum, to Educate Together to carry out that function on behalf of the State; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
