Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31.
10:30 am
Paudge Connolly (Cavan-Monaghan, Independent)
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate the following urgent matter: the current dispute about contract payments between insurance companies and general practitioners where GPs are refusing to carry out medical examinations for mortgage applicants; the undue hardship being caused to young families who are seeking to secure a home; and the urgent need for the Government to resolve the existing difficulties between the parties.
